The innovative microblasted string mesh, inspired by tennis racket stringing, supports the entire calibre. This 855 mm2 string mesh is meticulously woven with a 0.27 mm diameter steel cable, held by gold PVD-treated turnbuckles.

The RM27-04 withstands over 12,000 g's, setting a new resistance record at Richard Mille. A free-sprung balance, variable inertia, and terminal-curve spring ensure reliability and accurate chronometric results.
