The Cartier LOVE collection began in New York in 1969 with an oval bracelet designed by Aldo Cipullo. Distinguished by its exposed screw motif and close-fitting form, the original design consists of two rigid arcs secured together with functional screws, establishing the visual language that continues throughout the collection today.
Since its introduction, LOVE has expanded beyond the original bracelet to include rings, necklaces, earrings, and additional bracelet variations. Across these forms, the collection retains its signature screw details and clean geometric lines, interpreted in different metals, proportions, and diamond-set designs.
