This version showcases a stainless steel case, 42.4mm in diameter, accompanied by a silver-plated dial adorned with blue hands and appliques. Its refined appearance is attributed to a redesigned case construction featuring a thinner casing ring and box-glass sapphire crystals on both sides. Notably, the intricately crafted dial undergoes a 60-step manufacturing process, with 15 layers of transparent lacquer providing exceptional optical depth. The subdials are meticulously milled into both the brass blank and lacquer layer, while a special printing process enhances the three-dimensional effect. Completing the ensemble, the IWC-manufactured 52011 caliber powers the Portugieser Automatic 42, boasting circular graining and Geneva stripes. Its Pellaton winding system, reinforced with virtually wear-free zirconium oxide ceramic components, offers a 7-day power reserve.
