This version boasts a stainless steel case, 42.4mm in diameter, complemented by a blue dial and rhodium-plated hands and appliques. Its refined appearance is attributed to a redesigned case construction with thinner casing rings and box-glass sapphire crystals on both sides. Notably, the intricately crafted dial undergoes a 60-step manufacturing process, with 15 layers of transparent lacquer providing exceptional optical depth. The subdials are meticulously milled into both the brass blank and lacquer layer, while a special printing process enhances the three-dimensional effect. The Portugieser Automatic 42 is powered by the IWC-manufactured 52011 caliber, elaborately finished with circular Geneva stripes. Its Pellaton winding system, reinforced with virtually wear-free zirconium oxide ceramic components, offers a 7-day power reserve in two barrels. Finished with a stainless steel bracelet for added sophistication.
