This variant showcases a stainless steel case, 42.4mm in diameter, complemented by a Dune dial and gold-plated hands and appliques. Its refined appearance is attributed to a redesigned case structure with a thinner casing ring and box-glass sapphire crystals on both sides. Notably, the intricately crafted dial undergoes a 60-step process, achieving optical depth through 15 layers of transparent lacquer. Subdials are intricately milled into both the brass blank and lacquer layer, enhanced by a special printing process for a three-dimensional effect. The Portugieser Automatic 42 is driven by the IWC-manufactured 52011 caliber, featuring circular Geneva stripes. Its Pellaton winding system, reinforced with virtually wear-free zirconium oxide ceramic components, offers a 7-day power reserve in two barrels. Finished with a black alligator leather strap and stainless steel folding clasp.
