The Patek Philippe Nautilus 50th anniversary edition retains the core time-only display of the classic Nautilus while introducing anniversary-specific details through its movement and commemorative production context.

Its case is crafted in white gold and measures 41 mm across from 10 to 4 o’clock, with a thickness of 6.9 mm. The construction follows the two-part Nautilus case architecture and combines contrasting polished and satin-brushed finishes across the case, bezel, and integrated bracelet. The screw-down crown and water resistance to 30 metres preserve the watch’s established sport-luxury framework, while the overall proportions remain closely aligned with the slim profile that has long defined the model. A sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement within.

The dial is executed in sunburst blue and retains the horizontally embossed pattern that has become one of the defining visual traits of the Nautilus. White gold applied baton-style hour markers and rounded baton-style hands, all with white luminescent coating, preserve the familiar display language of the collection. In this reference, the absence of date or additional indications keeps the dial particularly close to the original three-hand Nautilus formula, allowing the anniversary model to focus on proportion, finish, and continuity of design rather than additional complication.

Inside is the ultra-thin self-winding calibre 240, a movement measuring just 2.53 mm in height. It uses an off-centre 22K gold mini-rotor and offers a minimum power reserve of 48 hours. The watch is fitted with an integrated white gold bracelet secured by a patented fold-over clasp and equipped with a lockable adjustment system. As with the case, the bracelet combines polished and satin-brushed surfaces, reinforcing the Nautilus’s characteristic interplay of finishing across its integrated construction.
