In honor of Claude Monet’s stay in Venice in 1908, the Reverso Tribute Enamel takes you to the shores of the Adriatic Sea and to Jaeger-LeCoultre Atelier des Métiers Rares™.

On the front, the Art Deco case in white gold reveals a dial guilloché with a subtle herringbone pattern (360 lines) featuring blue Grand Feu enamel. The luminous, translucent colour requires almost 9 hours of lapidary, 5 coats of enamelling and 7 kiln passages at around 800 °C.

On the reverse, the craftsmen spent 70 hours enamelling and undertook 15 kiln cycles (at up to 800 °C) to reproduce a famous canvas by the impressionist painter over a surface measuring 2 cm²: sunset over San Giorgio Maggiore. Limited to 10 pieces.
